Privacy statement

How Techstone Nordic AS handles personal data on www.techstone.no, including the contact form, email, visitor statistics and cookies.

Last updated: 6 November 2026

Who is responsible

Techstone Nordic AS (org. no. 933 321 177), Hoffsveien 13, 0275 Oslo, Norway, is the controller for personal data collected through www.techstone.no. Questions about privacy can be sent to [email protected].

What we collect

  1. Contact form: the role you choose (brand, retailer or other), name and company, email address, your message and which page the form was sent from.
  2. Email you send us: name, email address, the content and any attachments.
  3. Technical information: when you visit the site, our provider Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser type and time of the visit to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. We do not use this to profile you.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and ask you not to send any.

Why we process it

Purpose Data Legal basis (GDPR)
Answer enquiries and follow up possible partnerships Form and email Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) or steps before entering into an agreement (Art. 6(1)(b))
Deliver the site, protect it against attacks and produce anonymous visitor statistics Technical information Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f))
Meet legal obligations, such as bookkeeping when an enquiry leads to an agreement What the obligation requires Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a partnership are deleted no later than 24 months after the last contact.
  • If we start working together, we keep the data for as long as the partnership lasts, and then for as long as the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act requires.
  • The form service keeps a copy of submitted forms under its own retention rules, which allow up to three years. We do not use that copy and delete it when we no longer need it.
  • Technical logs at Cloudflare are kept for a short time under Cloudflare's own routines.

Who we share it with

We never sell personal data. We use these providers, which process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement:

Provider What they do for us Where data is processed
Cloudflare, Inc. Hosting the site, protection against attacks and visitor statistics Global network, US company
Web3Forms (Web3Creative) Forwards the contact form to our email India, with hosting at Amazon Web Services and in the EU
Microsoft (Microsoft 365) Email and storage of enquiries Mainly in the EU

If your enquiry concerns a brand we represent, we only share it with the brand if you have asked us to or agreed to it.

Transfers outside the EEA

Some providers process data outside the EEA. Transfers to Cloudflare in the US take place under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses. Transfers to Web3Forms take place under the EU standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

The site uses no cookies for analytics, marketing or tracking. We also do not use third-party content that tracks you, such as embedded videos, social buttons or Google Fonts.

We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device and only gives us totals, such as visits per page and which countries visits come from. It cannot be used to identify you.

Cloudflare may set a security cookie (for example __cf_bm) that tells ordinary visitors apart from automated attacks. It is strictly necessary to deliver the site securely, does not identify you and is deleted after a short time. Under section 3-15 of the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act it therefore does not require consent. You can block cookies in your browser, but some security features may then work less well.

The site links to other sites, such as LinkedIn, news media and the brands' own sites. Their own privacy and cookie rules apply there.

Your rights

You can ask for access to the data we hold about you, and ask us to correct, delete or restrict its use. You can also object to the processing and ask to receive your data. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within one month.

If you believe we process your data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).

Changes

We update this statement when we change how we process personal data. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
